Men better in car insurance research

Despite the nature of their sex leading to higher car insurance claim levels, and consequently higher car insurance premiums, men do apparently do more research than women when it comes to their car insurance policy .

Research conducted by Tesco car insurance indicates that approximately 56 per cent of men read every detail of their car insurance policy, overshadowing 50 per cent of women that do the same.

Furthermore, the research indicates that men know more about car insurance small print when it comes to making a claim . A statement from Tescocompare.com reportedly found:

" Insurance polices can be complicated, and it is not surprising that so many people find themselves in a situation where they thought they were covered when in fact they weren't."
